more about SpaceOddities:
gifts and greeting cards featuring images salvaged from discarded books, comics and more. Also featuring screen printed apparel, totes and notecards with original artwork by Chad Thorson
Space Oddities is a husband and wife team. Andrea creates one-of-a-kind cards, pins, magnets and more made from recycled images and busts out the gocco to print Chad’s fun designs on our totes, shirts and screen printed notecards. Chad also provides creative inspiration and validation in the middle of the night when Andrea is too tired to know what is awesome and what is ridiculous.
I (Andrea) primarily craft and create late into the night when my kids are asleep or on the rare occasion when then are both napping at the same time. I love ripping up old magazines, books, comics, etc. to upcycle into fun one of a kind gifts and greeting cards. I have soft spot for pretty gift wrap and interesting craft papers which you will see in my work as well.
